The ACMM task is about Building the Temple of God.

"At the king’s command, they removed from the quarry(D) large blocks of high-grade stone(E) to provide a foundation of dressed stone for the temple. The craftsmen of Solomon and Hiram(F) and workers from Byblos(G) cut and prepared the timber and stone for the building of the temple." 1 Kings 5: 17-18

"In building the temple, only blocks dressed at the quarry were used, and no hammer, chisel, or any other iron tool was heard at the temple site while it was being built." 1 Kings 6:7

As we build the Association of Churches Ministers and Ministries (ACMM), we should do so, understanding the task as that of creating a more enormous Temple of God with greater responsibility and an all-encompassing mission.

In its mission, the ACMM concludes 'thereby magnifying Christ. The magnifying of Christ in the greater Temple requires the craftsmanship of similar wisdom as one King Solomon used to build the temple of God. Arguably the largest man-made project in honor of God, everything about the Temple had to be detailed in a way that creates not only a structure befitting of the greatness of God but a structure sufficient enough to let the Holy Ghost roam freely as it interacts with those coming into and leaving the Temple.

The word of God says, "at the king’s command, they removed from the quarry(D) large blocks of high-grade stone(E) to provide a foundation of dressed stone for the temple." Removing large blocks of high-grade stone from the quarry is a physical process requiring skill and patience; otherwise, the stones quarried might lose the grade and quality necessary for the type of temple we are building.  Quarrying also means breaking some of the strongholds to which the grade of stones we want is attached. It will also mean once the grade we want is carried away to the Temple building site, what remains at the quarry might be remnants out of which quality was extracted and thus still usable for other purposes of the Temple.

The high-grade stones are quarried to provide a foundation of dressed stone for the temple. Therefore, the foundation character of the stones dictates that the method of quarrying must be so meticulous that we do not have carved or quarried out stones that have cracks, as the entire temple will be dependent on these stones to stand in posterity.

As the Bible accounts, not everyone will be up for the task, like not any other stone from the quarry will be good enough to be used as the 'foundation of dressed stone. In fact, the task of getting the very stones were given to 'the craftsmen of Solomon and Hiram and workers from Byblos.' They were the ones at the time of building the Temple who could "cut and prepare the timber and stone for the building of the temple."

In His guidance to King Solomon, God created a process of building the Temple in such a way that in each phase of building the Temple, the omnipresence of the Holy Spirit is respected and allowed to prevail. Like in Solomonic times, the building of ACMM, which I want to put to the men of God herein, charged with the task, ACMM is of equal significance. Therefore, in building this specific Temple, only blocks dressed at the quarry should be used, and no hammer, chisel, or other iron tool is to be heard at the temple site while building.

The team assembled by the GO, which is still being assembled, is made up of blocks dressed at the quarry. Men of God who constitute this team have already been quarried by God and dressed up as Pastors, Evangelists, Apostles, Bishops, and so on. The hammering has already been done by God at the quarry; they are sized and packaged to become the dressed foundation of this great Temple. Chiseling happened at the quarry; thus, no iron tools will be required at the temple site. Only putting the right block and, according to the plan, at its proper place is left to happen.

The task of this leadership will now be to go to the quarry and select out of the quarry additional high-grade stones to use as blocks to put on top of the dressed-up foundation.

As God inspires me, I will further unpack this quarry, quarrying, and quarried blocks required to face this task of building the greater Temple that ACMM is. I pray to get the revelation of who or what are the "craftsmen of Solomon and Hiram and workers from Byblos" ACMM requires because as a unit charged with the task and given The GO as our leader, we are already Solomonic in the responsibility and accountability we took.

Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that you continue revealing to us the quarry where your high-grade stones are. Lord, give us the craftsmanship to carve out without cracking or compromising the quality you want in and for the Temple. Give our GO the Solomonic wisdom we require to bring together the pockets of knowledge and intellect he has assembled to build this greater Temple to magnify Your Kingdom.

Amen

The revolution can't breathe; it is incomplete.

Only some political revolutions get to be completed. Because all revolutions end up with a settlement by elites and incumbents, they have become an outcome of historical moment-defined interests and less about the actual revolution. This settlement often involves a power-sharing agreement among the ruling elites and the incumbent government, which may not fully address the revolutionary goals. When the new power relations change, the new shape they take almost always comes with new challenges. As the quest for political power surpasses that of pursuing social and economic justice, alliances formed on the principles of a national revolution suffocate.    The ANC-led tripartite alliance's National Democratic Revolution is incomplete. The transfer of the totality of the power it sought to achieve still needs to be completed. While political power is arguably transferred, the checks and balances which the settlement has entrenched in the constitutional order have made the transfer...

The Ngcaweni and Mathebula conversation. On criticism as Love and disagreeing respectfully.

Busani Ngcaweni wrote about criticism and Love as a rendition to comrades and Comrades. His rendition triggered a rejoinder amplification of its validity by introducing  a dimension of disagreeing respectfully. This is a developing conversation and could trigger other rejoinders. The decision to think about issues is an event. Thinking is a process in a continuum of idea generation. Enjoy our first grins and bites; see our teeth. Busani Ngcaweni writes,   I have realised that criticism is neither hatred, dislike, embarrassment, nor disapproval. Instead, it is an expression of Love, hope, and elevated expectation—hope that others can surpass our own limitations and expectation that humanity might achieve greater heights through others.   It is often through others that we project what we aspire to refine and overcome. When I criticise you, I do not declare my superiority but believe you can exceed my efforts and improve.   Thus, when we engage in critici...

The ANC succession era begins.

The journey towards the 16th of December 2027 ANC National Elective Conference begins in December 2024 at the four influential regions of Limpopo Province. With a 74% outcome at the 2024 National and Provincial elections, which might have arguably saved the ANC from garnering the 40% saving grace outcome, Limpopo is poised to dictate the cadence of who ultimately succeeds Cyril Ramaphosa, the outgoing ANC President.  The ANC faces one of its existential resilience-defining sub-national conferences since announcing its inarguably illusive and ambitious renewal programme. Never has it faced a conference with weakened national voter support, an emboldened opposition complex that now has a potential alternative to itself in the MK Party-led progressive caucus and an ascending substrate of the liberal order defending influential leaders within its ranks. The ideological contest between the left and right within the ANC threatens the disintegration of its electora...
